Motorhome Motor sport

If you haven't seen this yet ~ I suggest you do! It's one of those amazing, strange, dumb ideas that you can't get enough of! Happy racing!! Motorhome Racing at it's best!

RV Remodel - Kitchen stage 1 before pictures

One of the main issues inside was the kitchen area. The heat and humidity really did a job on the wallpaper.

Stage 1 - I think for now the back splash, trim around the microwave, drain, faucet and window covering will be all that needs any real attention before we move in. The previous owner kept it very tidy so the only mess is the one we are making.

As you can see the wall paper/contact paper has bubbled and shrunk on the walls, they attempted to remedy this with a wood wall border a piece of paneling and lots of small screws.

The counter top is in decent condition other than needing to be tacked down on the far corner. And I know the stove has been used but it is in great condition, and VERY clean.

The bungee cord holding the refrigerator doors closed may be useful, but it just has to go!

The kitchen faucet has to be replaced, water leaks out everywhere when you turn it on, as does the sink drain. No damage has been done so we assume it's something that has happened while it has been sitting.

I went down to Bison RV Center here in Clovis and got a new chrome one with a removable faucet sprayer head in an updated style. It's going to look amazing!

We will replace the window coverings and may put in an space saver coffee pot.

I will post more pictures after we get the demolition completed, and more after Stage 1 is complete.

Step 2 - 3 - 4- 5 We will do more later to include a convection oven instead of the microwave, a new counter top, flat surface stove top, smaller sink and a dishwasher.

The JoLLy RogEr

We can officially say we are RV owners TODAY!! The dotted line is signed sealed and delivered!

In true NEW MEXICO fashion I got to drive it home in the middle of a wild wind storm. Goose said it looked like the leaning tower from behind as we rolled down the road.

I loving named it The Jolly Roger for a few reasons.

1. The seat bounces around like an amusement park ride

2. I feel like a pirate selling everything off to sail the seven seas

3. I figured it needed a cool name

T'was the night before the RV

T'was the night before we pick-up the RV and all through the house not a creature is string not even a mouse. No one but me and I'm too tired, too excited and too sick to sleep! Bah-Hum-Bug!
